The Butler Hyundai Group is currently seeking a variance to allow more
signs for the dealership than are allowed by city ordinance. A public
hearing on the matter is schedule for May 28th at 6pm at One Civic
Center. We are encouraging homeowners to attend. Board members will
also be in attendance. The variances they are seeking involve
additional signage that will face both 96th Street and Randall Drive.
The size of the signs and number of additional signs being requested are
not known.
Also, to keep the lines of communication open, the
Board has requested a meeting with the developer to learn if there are
any serious discussions underway regarding the two outlots on 96th
Street, as well as the north parcel that abuts the neighborhood. We
will keep everyone updated as soon as we learn anything new.
